Jennifer and Andy, Engagement

I will be sharing Jennifer and Andy's love story in late October, the site Butterfly House, the couple.. perfectly matched.  If the wedding is anything like the engagement session it will be full of laughter and a couple madly in love and ready for anything.  When Jen emailed me about their wedding she told me "we got it right this time."  How true.  There is this way Andy makes her laugh.  His eyes are filled with love and adoration when he looks at her... this is right. 

The engagement session started with rain.. A LOT of rain.  Down pour as soon as I arrived.  The weather was staying true to its pattern, rain on the weekends RIGHT when I needed to shoot.  It was okay though we talked about how they met, the details, his parents, his move into town.  Andy moved from the suburbs of Chicago (very familiar to me!) so we did a lot of Chi-town StL comparisons.  I love connecting with people from the north :)  After the rain subsided we headed out with Molly their black (very large) lab.  She's sweet... although we couldn't take her off her leash.  Jen and Andy assured me she would run away :)  I love this couple and I love that they were game for anything.  We took Andy's jeep out (although I think he was quietly hoping I would suggest it) and I even talked them into wading out into the lake.. This wedding is going to be intimate, beautiful and classic.
